Nobody calls a fixture job dramatic — until the supply line behind a wobbly faucet lets go on a Friday night, or a slow toilet-base leak spends a year rotting subfloor. The craft in this work isn't glamour, it's discipline: correct seals, correct torque, a shut-off valve that actually shuts off, and a bead of caulk where water will test it.
That last point matters more here than most places. Gulf humidity means anything that seeps never really dries — small failures compound instead of evaporating. A fixture installed right is cheap insurance.

We check the shut-off valves feeding whatever we touch — the Coast is full of quarter-turns that haven't turned since the Clinton administration — and replace the ones that would strand you in the next emergency. Floors protected, packaging and old fixtures gone when we leave.
