The first five minutes matter most

A burst supply line pushes hundreds of gallons an hour into your home. The difference between a wet mess and a gutted floor is usually how fast the water stopped — which is why the first thing we do when you call isn't schedule you, it's walk you to the right shutoff valve while the truck is already moving.

Sewage backups run the other direction but hurt just as much: everything the drain system touched needs proper cleanup, and running "just a little" water keeps feeding the problem. Stop water use, keep people and pets clear, and let us take it from the cleanout.

What an emergency call looks like

You call. A person answers — one of ours, on the Coast, not a call center three time zones away. We ask what's happening, talk you through immediate damage control, quote the dispatch honestly, and roll a truck stocked for the common catastrophes: burst pipe repairs, main-line stoppages, water heater failures, failed shutoff valves.

On site, the priority order is fixed: make it safe, stop the damage, restore service, then talk about anything longer-term in daylight terms — no 2 a.m. sales pitches. You approve every price before work happens.

Why storms make it worse here

Gulf Coast emergencies cluster. When a tropical system saturates the ground, sewer lines that were marginal fail together; when the soil dries and shifts after, slab lines crack in a second wave. We staff for those weeks with extended crews and prioritize by severity — active water first, sewage second, everything else in honest order. If your problem started with a storm, say so when you call; it changes what we put on the truck.
