What a drain problem looks like

A single slow sink is a nuisance. But water backing up in the tub when the toilet flushes, gurgling from other fixtures, sewer smell in the yard, or one drain that clogs every few months — those are signs the problem is deeper in the line, and no bottle of chemicals is going to reach it.

On the Gulf Coast the usual culprits are predictable: live oak and water oak roots hunting moisture at pipe joints, older cast-iron and clay lines in Gulfport and Biloxi neighborhoods rusting rough and catching debris, and lines that have bellied — sagged — in our soft, sandy soil so waste sits in a low spot instead of flowing through.

What we actually do

For straightforward clogs, we cable the line and confirm flow. For grease, scale and roots, we hydro jet — high-pressure water that scours the pipe's full diameter clean instead of punching a hole through the blockage. And for anything recurring, we put a camera in the line first, so the fix targets the actual cause: a root intrusion at one joint, a belly between the house and the street, or a line that's simply at the end of its life.

You see what we see. If the line is sound, we tell you, clear it, and you're done. If it isn't, you get the footage, the location marked above ground, and honest options — spot repair, cleanout access, or replacement — each with a real price.

What to expect from a visit

We confirm the price before any machine starts. Most single-drain clearings are finished within the hour; main lines with camera work typically run two to three. We protect floors, run water to verify full flow before we leave, and walk you through anything the camera found. If a backup involves sewage, treat it as an emergency and call — that one can't wait for a weekday.

If more than one drain gurgles when the washing machine empties, that's not three clogs — that's one main line asking for help. Call before it stops asking politely.
